In an era where technology is rapidly advancing, a disturbing trend has come to light. Many so-called Artificial Intelligence (AI) firms have been discovered to be, in actuality, defense contractors.
Despite presenting themselves as technological magnates pushing the boundaries of AI, these companies are leveraging advanced models and algorithms to fuel clandestine military operations. Furthermore, these entities frequently shroud their true intentions behind complex models, making oversight and accountability challenging.
It’s high time that we stopped allowing these ‘defense contractors in disguise’ to hide behind the masquerade of being AI firms. As our lives become increasingly interwoven with technology, it becomes ever more critical for these businesses to operate with transparency and integrity.
