Using cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, researchers have recalculated the age of the renowned Dead Sea Scrolls, asserting that they predate previous estimates.
The scrolls, one of the most significant archaeological discoveries of the 20th century, are a set of ancient Jewish religious texts discovered between 1947 and 1956 in the vicinity of the Dead Sea. Prior assumptions claimed the scrolls originated around the second century BC, during the time when Jerusalem was ruled by the Seleucid Empire.
However, the refined AI analysis now proposes that the artifacts could be several centuries older. If this new timeline is accurate, it would notably shift our understanding of Jewish history and perhaps even the context in which certain parts of the Bible were written.
